The team at Total Property Services Canterbury includes builders, carpenters, painters and handymen. All of our trades people are qualified and have extensive experience. This enables us to carry out building, maintenance or quotations for whatever work may be required at your site.
All work requests, including Planned Preventative Maintenance work, are conveniently programmed through our help desk. This means we can customise any job to meet the specific needs of our customers.
At Total Canterbury we offer both preventative and reactive maintenance services throughout the South Island for Body Corporates and Property and Facilities Management companies.
For our clients we offer inspections of the properties they manage to see what building and maintenance is required or may be needed in the future. We can then supply pricing estimates or quotes to help our clients to budget and plan for the work they want to complete within their portfolio. This work is then issued and given timeframes for completion, depending on urgency, in order to protect the lifespan of the property. From smoke alarms to re-roofs or total building repaints, we cover it all.
Of course not all jobs are able to be planned ahead as there is often work that we need to attend to that perhaps was unexpected for our customers and was not included in the previously mentioned planned inspections. This is Reactive Maintenance, where tenants contact us with jobs that can be anything from plumbing through to electrical work. At this point these jobs will be issued and logged into our job management system. We can then give our client timeframes for completion on these works; scaled from critical, which need to be attended to immediately, through to routine or quoted work, which will fit into a bigger timeframe depending on the scale of the work.
To ensure our clients always have a picture of their work plan, our work management system has comprehensive tracking and reminding facilities to ensure that logged jobs are flagged with expected completion dates and are completed on time.
We have also got a 24/7 emergency call out system in place for our clients for any reactive jobs that come through after normal working hours.
